Introducing the Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor, a temperature and humidity measuring tool designed for Zigbee gardening and monitoring potted plant soil. Made of ABS material and weighing approximately 144g (5.08oz), this sensor has a size of 180x46.5mm (7.09x1.83in) and a probe length of 60mm (2.36in). It is powered by 2xAA batteries (batteries not included) and has a moisture measurement range of 0-100% with an accuracy of ±3% for 0-50% moisture and ±5% for 50-100% moisture. The temperature measurement range is -20℃ to 60℃ with an accuracy of ±1℃. With an IP67 protection grade, this sensor is designed to withstand water and dust exposure.

The package includes 1 soil tester and 1 instruction manual. It's important to note that this product can only function when connected to a wireless device with Zigbee capability. If the customer already has such a device, there is no need to purchase an additional one.

To use the sensor, simply install it in the desired location and insert the sensor probe vertically into the soil, ensuring full contact and compaction for accurate data. Keep in mind that the sensor is only suitable for testing soil and is not applicable to other materials such as dry flour, small stones, organic wood chips, or liquid particles. Care should be taken when inserting the probe into the soil as the depth and compactness will directly affect the measured value and may cause errors. For best results, use the method of taking the average value of multi-point tests to improve accuracy.

The non-corroding probe is made of austenitic 304, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. A mobile app can be used to view real-time moisture data and enable automatic intelligent irrigation with a smart garden timer. With a compact and portable design, the sensor can be used for both indoor and outdoor gardening in various locations such as farms, greenhouses, orchards, gardens, and more.
